What is Career Jam™ Launch?

It is a program for 10th-12th graders highlighting immediate career growth opportunities such as internships, project-based learning, full-time careers, and part-time and seasonal jobs. Career Jam™ is partnering with Siena College to bring this dynamic experience for high school students in the Capital Region. Students will explore local career pathways and network with an expanded number of businesses that are hiring locally.

• Engagement Matters - Each career exploratory booth must include a hands-on component that will enhance the students' learning experience.
   

• Diversity Matters - It’s important for students to see working professionals that look like them. Diversity among company representatives is strongly suggested.
   

• Being Present Matters - You must have a company representative present for the entire exhibit time. Representatives cannot leave the booth unattended at any time.
   

• Participation Matters - Students will walk the floor with scavenger hunt cards to encourage engagement with the employers. Sign off on their cards to verify they stopped by!
